Logistic Manager

The responsibilities of a Logistic Manager:

  • Attendance of project’s fleet: inward/outward clearance / Port call arrangements / Marine services such as but limited to bunkering, waste management, and supply of ship spares;
  • Attendance of cargo: customs clearance, handling, inland transportation;
  • Coordination of all local logistics services with the Local Agent;
  • Close follow-up of Local Agent, Supervision of Crew Changes with Crew Changes directly managed by a local COMPANY Personnel Coordinator;
  • Import documentation for vessel and cargo: coordination of the issuance of the import documentation, review, and approval before submission to the local agent and authorities;
  • Coordination of vessel clearances/ customs procedures for mobilizations/port calls;
  • Development of the mobilization procedures/ guidelines and onshore task plans;
  • Coordination of all local logistics services with the Local Agent;
  • Development of project-specific logistics plans and logistics processes;
  • Ensuring all project-specific equipment is accounted for, and documentation is complete, prior to the mobilization.
